Fees for EPSS Presentations

MOORESTRAINING provides estate planning and structuring (EPSS ) training, publications and other advisor services for professional bodies, dealer groups and professional advisors. (See Presentation Topics - EPSS for current presentation topics. See EPSS Fees for estate planning and structuring advice and documents).

Fees for Presentations, Tutorials and Overviews

In Melbourne, Box Hill and adjacent locations, our EPSS presentations are charged for at the hourly of $440.00 per hour (including GST, $400 per hour excluding GST) - a one hour minimum charge applies. No charge is usually made for the preparation of materials for the presentations. These terms have been effective since 1 November 2006 and are reviewed annually.

Ex-Melbourne and Box Hill Presentations

For presentations outside Melbourne, Box Hill and adjacent locations, our time is usually charged at a daily rate of $2,640.00 (including GST, $2,400 per day excluding GST), plus out of pocket expenses. Again, no charge is usually made for the preparation of materials for the presentations. For example a 6 hour presentation in Sydney would be charged at $2,640.00 including GST, plus air and taxi/car travelling time from Melbourne and other out of pocket expenses such as airport car parking, accommodation and meals. Where, however, a shorter presentation is booked to coincide with other presentations or consulting projects already or subsequently scheduled in the same city, costs are usually apportioned between the presentations.

Out of Pocket Expenses

In addition to our presentation fees, out of pocket expenses that we incur on your behalf will need to be met. These may include:

  • Travel costs - Where air fares (usually Qantas e-ticket, economy) are to be incurred, we need them to be booked and paid for in advance. Note: the Frequent flyer numbers for Allan Swan are Qantas 0917042 and Velocity (Virgin Blue) 2108847353. Costs of road travel (including travel by car to and from airports) are calculated using the standard Australian Tax Office approved rates per kilometre;
  • Accommodation (where regional or interstate sessions continue for more than one day or are to commence relatively early in the morning, this may need to include accommodation for the previous evening); and
  • Meals and other incidentals (where regional or interstate trips cover more than one standard working day) are charged in accordance with the Australian Taxation Office's current determination.
